Giuseppe De Martino, also known as “Amed” (b. 1992), studied Visual Arts and Decoration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. In his artistic practice, he utilizes various mediums such as painting, murals, drawing, and illustration. Often guided by a site-specific approach, Amed collects diverse materials, which he reworks and manipulates to create images and narratives that blend cultural history, personal memories, literary references, and local folklore. Since 2016, he has been creating large-scale wall paintings for both public and private institutions.
